Bhatt dodged firing attempt

It was sheer luck that helped film producer Mahesh Bhatt escape a third attempt on his life last month. Had crime branch officials been a little late in reaching the producer’s office and nabbing the three shooters, they might have succeeded in firing at him. The accused told the police that the bikers first attempted to shoot at Bhatt in his car in September.
