The casting agency claims that they are looking for extras with a ragged military look.
The satirical film is based on Michael Hastings’ book The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan. Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B tied up with Netflix who will be the distributor, making the project come to life. It is the biggest budget and high profile production for the online video streaming giant. The movie is set to be released in 2016 in cinemas and on Netflix.
In the movie Abu Dhabi’s desert landscape will be portraying the deserts of Afghanistan and Iraq. Popular for the warm welcome of film crews, safe environment and a 30 per cent rebat on movie production, the capital is becoming a popular destination for filming. The film shooting schedule in the UAE is set to last roughly for one month, during which Brad plans to fly in his entire family including wife, Angelina Jolie and children for occasional stay.
