Cheddar-pecan dip recipe

Let’s start with this wonderfully warm cheese and glazed pecan dip! This fabulous and healthy combination is sure to make your guests crave for more!
Ingredients
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 6 ounces extra-sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/8 to ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Fine salt
- Chopped chives, for garnish
- Sliced fruits of your choice or vegetables
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F or 180° C.
- Spread the pecans out on a rimmed baking sheet and bake until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes
- Let cool
- Chop them as finely as possible
- Process the cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar, Swiss cheese and cayenne in a bowl, mixing them until smooth
- Transfer to a large mixing bowl
- Stir the pecans and season with ¼ tsp salt
- Spoon the dip into a serving dish
- Garnish with chives
- Serve with sliced fruits or vegetables
