Real-life couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will star together in By the Sea, to be written and directed by the Maleficent star. This would be the couple’s first onscreen outing together after 2005’s Mr & Mrs Smith, where they met. It is also the first time that Jolie will direct her future husband. Pitt and Jolie will also will produce the project for Universal Pictures, which has acquired all worldwide rights.
